So tomorrow I start volunteering for VBS. My church's theme this year is "Jungle Adventure". I get a "tribe" of kids to lead from one activity area to the next. I'm actually really excited about this. I love working with kids and seeing their child-like faith, it just amazes me! People say I'm so wonderful with kids (maybe that's because I still am one) so, I'm curious to see how this works out.
There's one song that I was taught at my camp a few years ago "Walking through the jungle", it's not the traditional one you'll find if you google it, it's goes something like "Walking through the jungle (walking through jungle), following the master (following the master) hey man, hey man, don't you walk, don't you walk, to slow." I think but I can't remember the rest, anyone know? I think it would be awesome to teach the kids, especially since the VBS is jungle themed!
